Derbyshire is a stunning county, with its peaks, dales, woodland, and waterways forming a breathtaking landscape. The towns and villages are filled with interesting places to visit and exciting things to do, which is why the Peak District is the second most visited National Park globally!

However, for some individuals, accessing everything Derbyshire has to offer can be challenging, especially for those with disabilities. At AccessibleUK, our mission is to make life easier for disabled people and their companions.

We aim to provide a comprehensive platform that brings together all the necessary information for exploring Derbyshire and the Peak District. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely stroll in a picturesque village, followed by afternoon tea at a charming café, or seeking a more adventurous accessible activity like cycling, sailing, or hill climbing using a Boma 7 all-terrain wheelchair, this is the perfect site for you.

If you’re looking for wheelchair accessible holiday properties or hotels, locating Changing Places toilets in Derbyshire, or discovering local events and attractions suitable for you, look no further!

While accessing everything might not be possible, we collaborate closely with Visit Peak District, the Peak National Park Authority, Derbyshire County Council, and District Councils to provide you with accurate information about the available options. Consider it “Tourism on the Level.”

With all the information you need just a click away, what are you waiting for? Start exploring AccessibleUK and embark on an incredible journey in Derbyshire!
