This course will enable you to learn how to develop a warm and inclusive welcome for all and therefore widen your audience.

Course content:

• Theory and importance of Accessible Tourism
• Understanding access needs relevant for people with: hearing loss, sight loss, mobility impairment, Autism and Dementia
• Identifying barriers and creating solutions from a
pan-disability approach
• Changing Places Toilets
• Best Practise Guidelines, including website accessibility
• Understand how to carry out a basic accessibility audit
• Creation of your own Access MiniGuides
• Marketing your accessibility
• Bespoke accessibility consultancy
• Learn top tips on how to be an inclusive award winner

• Two expert trainers for the full programme (CAE trained auditors)
• One day classroom-based learning
• One day practical on-site learning day
• Resources and materials to support accessibility improvements at your organisation or business
